Fire Extinguisher Technician

Performing maintenance, inspections and repairs on portable fire extinguishers and related equipment.

Arrow Fire Protection has provided quality service to the San Francisco Bay Area for over 39 years. We are a well established and stable Company.

While we are looking for EXPERIENCED & LICENSED technicians, we will consider training the right person. We need team players who are customer service oriented, friendly, and will represent Arrow Fire in a professional and positive manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will join our professional team, providing service to our existing customers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. You will be expected to be a positive and professional representative of Arrow Fire at all times. You will complete inspection reports, work orders, and invoices. You will meet with customers, building engineers, and property managers. You will drive a company provided well maintained and professional service vehicle supplied with all parts, tools and equipment. You will be required to keep this service vehicle clean and organized, and with a complete inventory. You MUST be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This position is based out of our Fremont Facility, but service work is performed all over the Bay Area, including San Francisco.

While we we are looking for experienced & licensed fire extinguisher technicians, we will consider training the right person.

Minimum Requirements:

* Excellent customer service skills - Friendly demeanor.

* Attention to Detail - Good Follow-Through.

* Must work in a professional and safe manner appropriate to the fire life safety industry.

* Ability to work independently, be mechanically inclined, and self-motivated.

* Excellent Communication Skills in English - Written and Verbal.

* Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record.

* Ability to keep company owned vehicle clean, organized, and with complete inventory.

* Ability to to navigate SF Bay Area, including driving in San Francisco.

* Ability to adhere to and follow instructions, procedures, safety guidelines, rules and regulations at all times.

* Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and/or moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.

* Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Random Testing through-out employment will be performed

* Pre-Employment Background Check will be performed


This is a FULL TIME Position - a consistent 40 Hours per week (Monday - Friday)

We are looking for a sprinkler technician to help us service our established clients in the bay area by performing maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on fire sprinkler systems, fire hoses, fire extinguishers, and other fire protection related equipment.

We we are looking for an experienced sprinkler technician, or for someone with a fire protection background.

You must be customer service oriented, friendly, and have a professional appearance appropriate to the fire life safety industry.

Responsibilities:

You will join a professional team, providing service to our existing customers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to standard tasks for the job, you will be expected to complete inspection reports, work orders, and invoices. You will meet with customers, building engineers, and property managers. You will drive a company provided service vehicle, will keep it stocked with the correct parts/tools required for the project at hand, check inventory, and will keep the service vehicle clean and organized. You will provide labor as a helper on larger jobs, but must also be able to work independently. This position is based out of our Fremont facility. Work is performed all over the Bay Area, including San Francisco.

FREMONT OFFICE:

Arrow Fire Protection is looking for someone to provide office assistance in our Fremont office. We are looking for the right person, and will review resumes presented for this FULL-TIME position.

The position hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00.

Arrow Fire Protection has provided service to our clients in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 37 years. We perform testing and maintenance on automatic fire sprinklers, standpipe systems, fire extinguishers, and related fire protection equipment. We are a well established and stable company.

In our office, excellent phone and communication skills are a must. As a first point of contact for clients, a professional appearance, demeanor, and pleasant telephone personality are a few of the attributes an ideal candidate for this position should possess.

We are looking for a team player. Someone that is well organized, and willing to take initiative. You must be accurate, pay attention to detail, maintain a strong work ethic, and have consistent follow-through. If you are able to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines you’ll enjoy working in our smaller, comfortable non-smoking office environment.

The office duties include, but are not limited to: Answering phones and client inquiries, data entry, invoice processing, proposals, scheduling, filing, accounts-receivables, A/R calls, creating reports, and providing quality customer service. You will also be expected to help complete and input inspection reports, work orders, and invoices.

Knowledge of Outlook, Quickbooks, Excel, and MS Word are a plus.
